Byron Beach Cafe presents a classic 1950s themed surf club experience, designed to suit the Australian beach culture and bringing with it an innocence, optimism and simplicity of the times. “Our vision is to restore the lifestyle, culture and environment of the Beach Café as a place where locals and visitors can meet, eat and enjoy the beach and the Byron way of life. After over a decade of operating fine dining restaurants in town we are thrilled to be launching a more relaxed café on Byron’s stunning Clarkes Beach - situated amongst the dunes over looking Julian Rocks” says owner, Ben Kirkwood.
Byron Beach Cafe offers relaxed indoor and outdoor dining, with spectacular views from every position, as well as a takeaway kiosk. The café is open daily for breakfast and lunch, with a dinner service on weekends in winter and more often in the warmer months and seven days through the summer holidays. With its destination location and an iconic reputation, the venue is also now fast becoming Byron’s most sought after site for weddings, private functions and events.
Food is under the direction of Head Chef Matthew Gillespie, (ex Blue Room, Ballina and The Orient, Byron Bay) who has created a stunning fresh seasonal menu showcasing the best regional products and produce in the area.
